Synopsis

The prolonged global pandemic has brought about much uncertainty about our future. Leaders are particularly burdened by their need to ensure the viability of the business while ensuring that the needs of a diverse team, with each individual facing their own unique challenges, can be met. There is an urgent need to re-examine and redesign our workplaces to become empathetic and inclusive environments that support, ensure, and inspire teams to thrive in this new normal and overcome adversity as a team.

The masterclass facilitated by Bettr Lives provides evidence-based and systematic tools to enable your employees to understand their emotions as data in order to fuel positive relationships and team performance. You will also be empowered to harness your Emotional Intelligence to lead a diverse workforce and rise above ongoing challenges.

2) Identify ways to manage stress and increase work productivity

3) Demonstrate the ability to support others using active listening and motivational interview skills

4) Demonstrate ways to provide and receiving feedback that encourages growth

5) Demonstrate the steps to manage challenging behaviours such as passive-aggressive

6) Identify ways to respond to the challenging situation at work i.e. how to manage an employee becomes emotional.

Session 1: Introduction to Emotional Intelligence (EQ)

  • Unlocking your EQ Profile

  • Benefits of harnessing EQ in our daily lives and workplaces

  • The link of EQ, Success and Meeting Needs

Session 2: How to recognise our Emotional State & Increase Self-Awareness

  • Identify, understand and manage your emotions effectively 

  • Recognise stress, burnout and ways to manage our stresses in life

  • Recognise common mental illness in Singapore and the signs and symptoms of mental illness

Session 3: How to manage our Emotional Well-being

  • Recognise patterns in our lives and how it affects our emotional well-being

  • Learn how to make better decisions in order to get the best outcomes for our emotional well-being

  • Understand Intrinsic Motivation and ways to stay motivated at work

  • Identify ways to exercise optimism during uncertain times

Session 4: How to manage our employees Emotional Well-being

  • Practical tools to give and receive feedback

  • Identify ways to manage challenging behaviours

  • Learn how you can support your employees using active listening skills and motivational interviewing skills

  • Learn how to respond to the various challenging situation at work i.e. how to manage an employee becomes when cries.
